Helpful Hints: It may take up to five days to experience the complete effect of one candling session as the wax falls out of the ear bit by bit. Avoid immersing the ears in water during this five day period. A toothpick may be used to clean a clogged candle tip. Contrary to some popular beliefs, ear candles do not use suction or vacuum to aid in the excretion of earwax.

Do not expose to temperatures below 32°F (0°C) or above 90°F (32°C).
Precautions:
Do not use this product by yourself! Do not use if you have ear tubes, an ear drum perforation, infection, disease, inflammation or recent ear surgery. Use the recommended position and angle (pictured above) at all times. Never burn to less than 4" in length. The candle should not be forced into the ear canal or inserted beyond 1/8". Cover the entire head, neck and shoulders with a damp towel, exposing only the ear to be candled. Maintain a low-burning flame and use common sense when working with fire. Use scissors to trim off each 1" segment of burnt ash into a nearby bowl of water. Be careful as the ashes may be hot. For added safety, the candle should be removed from the ear during cutting. Beware of air drafts from wind, heaters and air conditioners while paying close attention to the direction of the flame. The flame tip should be pointed away from the person being candled. One time use only. Do not reuse. Not recommended for children under the age of twelve years old.
