Ear Infections

Having an ear infection is no fun and mainly kids are the ones to get them a lot. Your doctor says they need tubes. That seems to be the advice from many, but is it really necessary? What purpose is tubes when its and infection? Here are a few things you can watch for to notice an ear infection before it becomes worse.

• Pulling or tugging on the ear
• Crying more than they usually do
• Ear drainage more than usual
• They cannot sleep
• They have sudden problem with their balance
• Having a hard time hearing

These are some of the symptoms you should have checked out by your doctor if they keep up for a few days. This can lead to something more serious if not taken care of right away. Usually some antibiotics will clear it up within 10 days or so.
