The pointed end of the candle is put into the ear canal and the broad end outside is burnt and allowed to burn within few inches from the ear. Then the candle is extinguished. The generated heat by the candle softens the ear wax and is easily removed. It creates a mild vacuum in the ear that enables to take out the impurities without any efforts.
